Quotations Specialist

Join a vibrant team as a Quotations Specialist responsible for crafting proposals, bids, and pricing estimates for a diverse range of products and services. Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure precision and promptness in all deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess potential projects for bidding on a variety of products.
  • Engage with suppliers to clarify specifications, negotiate costs, and finalize orders.
  • Oversee negotiations with both suppliers and clients to secure favorable terms.
  • Prepare material take-offs to support customer quotations.
  • Coordinate the necessary information for the submission of quotations.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise during the bidding process.
  • Follow up on pending quotations with the sales team and clients.
  • Collaborate with account representatives to ensure order completeness.
  • Maintain and update catalogs and pricing lists.
  • Spot and develop sales opportunities within the existing customer base.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities are essential.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must.
  • Familiarity with product lines and pricing strategies is preferred.
  • Experience with bid packages is advantageous.
