About the Opportunity
Richmond Hospital Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Philanthropy and Community Engagement to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to engage and inspire our community to support our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors, with a focus on building relationships and securing significant gifts to support our mission.
- Collaborate with our Chief Philanthropy Officer and other team members to develop and implement fundraising strategies, including major gifts, planned giving, and special events.
- Work closely with our Board of Directors and key volunteers to identify and cultivate potential donors and build relationships with existing donors.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive stewardship plan to ensure that donors feel valued and appreciated for their support.
- Manage and analyze data to track progress and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to our Philanthropy Officer and Philanthropy Coordinator to ensure seamless execution of fundraising activities.
- Edit and review marketing materials to ensure accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
- Facilitate the creation of donor-focused cultivation and fundraising events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or non-profit management.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in major gifts fundraising, preferably in a healthcare or non-profit setting.
- Proven track record of success in securing major gifts and building relationships with donors.
- Strong knowledge of the local Asian community and ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate a compelling case for support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership-building.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and donor database management systems.
- Ability to travel locally and attend events as needed.
