Automotive Refinishing Technician Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Automotive Refinishing Technician Apprentice at our Kamloops location in BC.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the field of automotive refinishing, working alongside experienced technicians and mentors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist journeyman technicians in various duties, including mixing paints and primers to exact specifications.
  • Document in-progress repairs, including photo documentation.
  • Maintain painting tools and equipment.
  • Assist in cleaning and polishing painted surfaces and imperfections to meet Craftsman standards.
  • Review work orders.
  • Maintain shop equipment and facility.

Requirements:

  • Have either completed pre-apprentice training in collision repair or be in their first or second year of apprenticeship.
  • Be comfortable in a team-oriented environment.
  • Have a strong work ethic, integrity, and ambition to succeed.
  • Must have a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract over the last 3 years.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions.
