We are seeking an experienced Water Treatment Innovator to join our team at Saltworks Technologies Inc.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe Water Treatment Innovator will lead the design of lithium recovery and advanced desalination plants by implementing repeatable modular water treatment unit operations. They will research process device options and specifications to determine the best technology and economic fit for a project.
- Contribute to the design of new products.
- Perform specific day-to-day tasks such as strategically designing process solutions, developing mathematical process models, generating and maintaining PFDs, P&IDs, and mass balances throughout project phases.
- OCCASIONAL hands-on work including commissioning, operating, and troubleshooting water treatment assets during commissioning at our facility or customer sites.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Integrated Engineering, coupled with process design experience.
- 8 to 10 years of post-graduation experience in process or chemical engineering within an industrial setting (covering design, testing, and operations).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
- Experience in developing P&IDs, preferably using AutoCAD P&ID or similar software.
