Job Title: Wood Frame Carpenter

Sofa Studio is seeking a skilled Wood Frame Carpenter to join our team. As a Wood Frame Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and installing wood frames for our furniture products.

Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Prepare estimates of labor and/or material costs.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
  • Instruct apprentices.
  • Estimate costs and materials.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, noisy environments, and dusty conditions.
  • Physical demands include bending, crouching, kneeling, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Overtime may be required.
