Personal Support Worker Opportunity

At RT Medical, we're dedicated to delivering exceptional care services that support our patients' and customers' health and wellness needs. As a Personal Support Worker, you'll be part of a team that's committed to making a positive impact in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide mobility support and assist with transfers.
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding, if needed.
  • Monitor and record vital signs and health status.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
  • Assist with medication reminders under supervision.
  • Report any changes in residents' health or behavior to healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized program.
  • Valid G2/G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, walk, crouch, kneel, and reach.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs independently and assist clients with standing, walking, and sitting.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification.
  • Updated immunization records, including a two-step tuberculosis test within the last 6 months.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check.
