At RT Medical, we're dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care services that meet the unique needs of our clients. As a Personal Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals who require assistance with daily activities, mobility, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide mobility support and assist with transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of our clients.
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding, if required, and monitor vital signs and health status.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  • Ensure the well-being and safety of residents at all times, reporting any changes in their health or behavior to healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized program or equivalent experience.
  • Valid G2/G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle, with daily travel exceeding 1 hour.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, walk, crouch, kneel, and reach, with the capacity to lift 50lbs independently.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification.
  • Updated immunization records, including a two-step tuberculosis test within the last 6 months.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check upon hire.
