We are seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our e-commerce team at Orckestra.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 4 to 5 department heads, overseeing a total of 75 to 80 employees.
  • Develop and implement a growth strategy that aligns with the company's objectives.
  • Establish key performance indicators and monitor their achievement.
  • Engage the team in executing initiatives and monitor progress.
  • Develop a strategy for products, marketing, sales, development, service, and support.
  • Communicate strategy, priorities, and results to employees and the management team.
  • Monitor the sales pipeline and ensure the achievement of sales team objectives.
  • Manage human, financial, and technological resources efficiently.
  • Develop the budget and provide detailed analyses to support it.
  • Contribute to a healthy risk management approach.
  • Ensure effective communication between departments and with other stakeholders.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and the market.
  • Be involved in key client activities and develop relationships with key partners.
  • Embody the company's values and foster a positive work environment.
  • Ensure healthy employee management and promote internal development.
  • Lead the team with a collaborative and mobilizing leadership style.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated managerial skills and collaborative leadership.
  • Ability to adapt, make decisions, and innovate in a competitive environment.
  • Proven analytical and judgment skills.
  • Excellent communication and language skills, with proficiency in English and French.
  • University degree in business administration or a relevant field.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience, with at least 5 to 7 years in a general management position.
  • Understanding of software development and web technologies.
  • Experience in the SaaS technology industry, with a strong asset in e-commerce experience.
  • Experience in managing large-scale technological implementation projects.
