About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at Sioux Lookout Home Hardware Building Centre. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and providing exceptional customer service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Merchandise Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, ensuring that the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell merchandise to customers, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, identify and report discrepancies, and take corrective action to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Store Operations: Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting tills, reconciling cash and credit card transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
