Job Title: Sales Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Supervisor to join our team at Sioux Lookout Home Hardware Building Centre. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our sales team and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to succeed in their roles.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Order merchandise and ensure that our store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their purchases.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help us make informed business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our store is well-stocked and that we are able to meet customer demand.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
