Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Crane Installer Lead Hand to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing, setting up, and commissioning various types of lifting equipment, including overhead cranes, jibs, and workstations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and set up lifting equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Read and understand drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate installation
  • Work at heights on large steel structures, adhering to safety protocols
  • Operate forklifts, elevated work platforms, and other heavy equipment
  • Maneuver and erect runways, columns, and other equipment
  • Follow and abide by all MCSD and customer Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Work in fast-paced environments, maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive working relationship with clients
  • Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on company equipment and inventory

Requirements:

  • Millwright License, steel erector, or structural welder certification
  • 1+ years of experience installing overhead cranes
  • CWB Welding Certificate, 4-Position Ticket
  • Experience operating heavy equipment and rigging
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle heavy loads
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and in various weather conditions
