About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Systems Specialist to join our team at ABB. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for providing on-site and remote technical support for installation and commissioning of industrial automation systems, as well as conducting maintenance autonomously on ABB equipment installed at mine sites.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for installation and commissioning of industrial automation systems
  • Conduct maintenance autonomously on ABB equipment installed at mine sites
  • Identify and develop business and commercial opportunities based on customer knowledge and collaboration across ABB
  • Act as the key point of contact for customer technical service requests for assigned customers to help them achieve their productivity and quality targets
  • Consult with and advise customers on the best service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process problems, perform Root Cause analysis, provide recommendations, and implement solutions to eliminate root causes
  • Prepare and present reports to customers for maintenance services with their maintenance programs with recommendations for product, quality, and customer service improvements
  • Domestic and International travel will be required, as the role will require hands-on support at customer sites

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing of MV equipment
  • Knowledge of servicing industrial equipment
  • Strong software understanding
  • Excellent mechanical skills
  • Valid driver's license and passport required
  • Availability for travel to customer sites (60–70%)

A estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include retirement plan, healthcare plan, accident insurance, and wellbeing program.
