About the Role

We are seeking an Electromechanical Systems Specialist to join our team at Hitachi Energy Canada Inc.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work with our team and contribute to the advancement of sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform refurbishment activities on electromechanical systems, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and testing of components.
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components of high-voltage switchgear equipment.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Requirements

  • Vocational diploma in electromechanics or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial mechanics, pneumatic and hydraulic fluids, electricity; industrial mechanical and electrical manufacturing and assembly.
  • Proficiency in manual crimping tools, electric drills, screwdrivers, vernier calipers, and other related equipment.
  • Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams.
  • Familiarity with assembly drawings and component lists.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be working in a clean, air-conditioned production floor environment.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes an estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
