At Meridia Recruitment Solutions, we're seeking an exceptional Senior Project Manager to lead our team of experts in delivering large-scale building and infrastructure projects.

We're offering a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, reflecting the expertise and experience required for this role.

Job Description:

A key member of our project management team, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex projects, from concept to completion. Your expertise will be called upon to troubleshoot issues, recommend innovative solutions, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

You'll work closely with project teams, trade partners, consultants, and clients to achieve project goals and vision. Your financial management skills will be essential in planning, managing, and respecting project budgets, costs, and associated purchasing.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Maintain strong relationships with team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients to drive project success;
  • Support project management teams to develop and drive construction schedules, ensuring timely completion;
  • Recommend innovative methodologies to increase effectiveness and efficiency;
  • Ensure compliance with Pomerleau's quality program;
  • Apply financial management expertise to plan, manage, and respect project budgets and costs;
  • Share knowledge through mentorship opportunities with project team members;
  • Serve as an expert in risk management to minimize project risks;
  • Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection on assigned projects;
  • Celebrate project success and completion, serving as a key member of the project close-out process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Civil Engineering or Construction Project Management degree/diploma from an accredited institution;
  • A minimum 10 years' experience working as a project manager in general contracting or construction management;
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to influence others and resolve client, project, and technical issues;
  • Strong knowledge of construction project methodologies, financial management, building codes, and relevant legislation;
  • A passion for building stakeholder relationships;
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
