Retail Store Manager

CITY FURNITURE (DC) LTD is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Merchandise Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that the store is visually appealing.
- Sales and Customer Service: Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities, and develop strategies to drive sales growth. Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Inventory Control: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement. Implement processes to minimize stock discrepancies and optimize inventory levels.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and staff productivity. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions:
- 35 hours per week.
- Permanent position.
- English language.
