We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our team at Polytainers. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our injection molding machines during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities- Operate injection molding machines to produce high-quality products, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
- Collaborate with the Shift Supervisor and Process Technician to achieve production goals and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Ensure accurate documentation of production data, including machine parameters, quality control, and maintenance activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate from plastics training facilities preferred.
- At least two years of experience in injection molding machine operation, with a strong understanding of hydraulics and mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods, reach above shoulder height, and lift up to 50 pounds.
