The Distribution & Logistics Manager will manage, lead, and develop the Logistics Team, becoming a sought-after business partner and resource with overall responsibility for:
Logistics Management: Maintain critical relationships with customs brokerage and distribution partners, ensuring smooth and efficient daily goods flow to meet customer needs.
Inventory Management: Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels and achieve inventory goals.
Purchasing Management: Support business operations by ensuring timely and efficient purchasing activities, identifying and realizing ongoing savings opportunities.
Facilities Management: Manage PM and emergency contracts to ensure safe and timely work completion.
Key Requirements:
You are an effective problem solver, self-starter, detail-oriented, service-minded, and able to work independently.
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or distribution is required, with advanced degree or diploma and experience working in an ERP environment.
Proficiency in Excel is highly desirable, with CCS designation and/or Six Sigma certification being advantageous.
