Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our client's team. As a key member of the logistics department, you will be responsible for overseeing outbound logistics, ensuring seamless operations, and driving productivity, quality, and safety.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and scheduling daily logistics activities to meet production and shipping targets;
  • Overseeing day-to-day logistics operations to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction;
  • Maintaining compliance with health and safety, quality, and ISO standards;
  • Preparing production reports and monitoring inventory levels;
  • E nsuring proper maintenance of equipment and facilities;
  • Optimizing storage space utilization and product shipments;
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality;
  • Fostering a positive and safe work environment through training and enforcement of policies;
  • Managing union and management relationships in accordance with company policies.

The Successful Applicant

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, or Business related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of logistics experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role in a packing, material handling, and logistics environment;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems;
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and operations management skills;
  • Attention to detail and a focus on integrity and accountability;
  • Excellent conflict resolution and people management skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a confidential search process and a role based in Toronto (GTA).
