At Seaspan, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Management Intern to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the successful management of the Multi-Purpose Vessels (MPV) Program.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the Marine Sector and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, heavy industrial setting. You will work closely with the PMO team to coordinate and execute assigned project activities and deliverables, ensuring the project meets expectations.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager(s) in coordinating and executing assigned project activities and deliverables.
  • Working with various departments, including estimating, contracts, planning, engineering, supply chain, production, testing, and risk management to ensure project success.
  • Collating program metrics to measure departmental, supplier, and contractor program performance.
  • Preparing and submitting program-related proposals.
  • Updating and maintaining activity lists by communicating with stakeholders.

Requirements include enrollment in a post-secondary degree program, ideally in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential, as well as digital literacy in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
