We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic leader to serve as the Dean of the School of Business at St. Francis Xavier University. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the school's academic programs, research initiatives, and community engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans for the school's academic programs, research initiatives, and community engagement activities.
- Lead and manage a team of faculty and staff to achieve the school's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with other university departments and external stakeholders to promote the school's programs and activities.
- Evaluate and improve the quality of the school's academic programs and research initiatives.
- Develop and manage budgets for the school's programs and activities.
- Represent the school at university and external events.
- Ph.D. in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in academic leadership or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading and managing teams to achieve strategic goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
