Job Description
  • Assign sales workers to duties: Directly oversee and manage the daily tasks and responsibilities of sales staff members, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff: Identify top talent and develop strategies to onboard new employees, providing ongoing support and coaching to ensure their success.
  • Authorize payments by cheque: Process transactions accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Order merchandise: Work closely with suppliers to source high-quality products that meet customer demands and exceed expectations.
  • Establish work schedules: Collaborate with team members to create efficient and productive work routines.
  • Sell merchandise: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages: Remain composed under pressure and utilize conflict resolution skills to resolve disputes and maintain a positive customer experience.
  • Organize and maintain inventory: Oversee the management of stock levels, ensuring adequate supplies are available to meet customer needs while minimizing waste and excess inventory.
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff: Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment by mentoring and guiding team members to achieve their full potential.
