Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at B.D. Construction. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors' activities, evaluating daily operations, and preparing construction project budget estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Subcontractors: Work closely with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects and coordinate their activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize project efficiency.
  • Prepare Budget Estimates: Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates to ensure accurate cost projections and identify potential cost savings.
  • Plan and Manage Budgets: Develop and manage budgets for construction projects, ensuring that costs are aligned with project goals and objectives.
  • Develop Quality Control Programs: Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure that construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Develop Risk Management Plans: Develop and implement risk management plans to identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact project success.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare regular reports to stakeholders on project progress, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction project management or a related field.
