About the Role

Altus Group Limited/Groupe Altus Limitée seeks a seasoned professional to fill the position of Director, Mergers in our Corporate Development team. This exciting opportunity will involve identifying and evaluating strategic transactions, supporting the Vice President throughout the deal lifecycle, and facilitating due diligence.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively scan, cultivate, and evaluate potential strategic transactions aligned to company objectives.
  • Support the Vice President on transactions throughout the deal life cycle.
  • Facilitate the due diligence process and coordinate across multiple internal teams.
  • Review and assist in the drafting of transaction legal documentation.
  • Creating consolidated detailed financial models; statistical analysis and transaction summaries.
  • Support the collection, reporting, and presentation of multiple data elements to forecast the progress of M&A projects in assessing risk and monitoring the impact of the M&A project.
  • Preparing reports related to active M&A projects and tracking budgets & project deliverables.
  • Working with the business unit to provide assistance, in the execution of post-transaction objectives.
  • Work with finance to support purchase price allocation exercise.
  • Oversee, prepare/model portfolio recommendations in the identification of strategic opportunities for equity investments.
  • Monitor investment portfolio performance and periodically assess valuation, liaise with Finance on financial reporting requirements.
