The Analyst II RoleThe Analyst II, reporting to the Manager of Operations, plays a vital role in providing essential transaction processing support to partners in ATB Wealth. Key responsibilities include trading support, fee management, account transfers, money movement, and account reconciliation.
This position requires independent time management, monitoring multiple queues, and adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and regulatory controls. The successful candidate must be proactive in identifying potential issues and assist with reallocation of resources to ensure timely completion of work.
The Analyst II may serve as the primary point of contact for rush requests or escalations, requiring reorganization of resources.
Accountabilities- Efficiently process diverse requests from various channels, adapting quickly to changing priorities and handling varied workloads.
- Accurately interpret and investigate requests, assess risk, resolve or reject incoming requests, and communicate results clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with ATB colleagues to provide timely solutions and support, sharing knowledge and providing on-the-spot coaching to Wealth partners.
- Exceed client expectations by delivering accurate and efficient processing solutions, connecting the processing picture to the client's story.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate complex problems to ensure timely resolution.
- Adhere to departmental guidelines, SLAs, and compliance requirements, ensuring quality assurance in all processing activities.
- Contribute to process documentation and job aids to support team efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., finance, business administration) is an asset.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is strongly preferred, with specific knowledge of securities processing and related timeframes.
- Familiarity with investment industry policies and regulations is essential.
- Proficiency in G-Suite programs and ability to quickly learn new software applications.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and technologies.
- A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to shared goals.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
