**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team at the Health Sciences Centre. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing quality healthcare services to our patients.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide consultation, client assessment, and physiotherapy diagnosis to patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote optimal function, prevent disability, and enhance well-being.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and training of students and other healthcare professionals.

**Requirements**

  • Recent and relevant clinical experience in physiotherapy.
  • Entry-to-practice academic credential in physiotherapy from an accredited Canadian university program or equivalent.
  • Registration on the Active Practice Register of the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba.
  • Membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (preferred).
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements in accordance with Employer policy.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Competence in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge of Indigenous customs, traditions, and values.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other disciplines and demonstrate professional judgment and initiative.
  • Knowledge of the physiological, social, cultural, and economic aspects of client care.

**Physical Requirements**

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods without resting.
  • Safe and effective use of body mechanics while working with clients.
  • Adequate motor coordination or dexterity for implementation of therapeutic techniques.

**Working Conditions**

  • May be required to work evenings or weekends.
  • May be required to occasionally work extended hours.
  • May be exposed to infectious diseases, blood, and body fluids, toxic materials, noise, allergens, physical and emotional stress.
