Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physiotherapy services to patients, including consultation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, and intervention implementation.
  • Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy plans to meet the needs of patients.
  • Conduct client assessments to identify physiotherapy needs and develop plans to address those needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program.
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba.
  • Membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • May be required to work evenings, weekends, or extended hours.
  • May be exposed to infectious diseases, blood, and body fluids.
