Job Summary:

Seven Oaks General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing quality physiotherapy services to our patients, including consultation, client assessment, physiotherapy diagnosis, planning, intervention implementation, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physiotherapy services to patients, including consultation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, and intervention implementation.
  • Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy plans to meet the needs of patients.
  • Conduct client assessments to identify physiotherapy needs and develop plans to address those needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and other healthcare providers on physiotherapy techniques and best practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited Canadian university program or the approved equivalent if internationally educated.
  • Registration on the Active Practice Register of the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba.
  • Membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association preferred.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time without resting.
  • Must demonstrate the use of safe and effective body mechanics while working with clients.
  • Must be able to safely transfer large and/or heavy clients who may have limited or no weight bearing capabilities.
  • May be required to work evenings or weekends.
  • May be required to occasionally work extended hours.
