About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Development Manager to join our team at Ocean Front Suites at Cowichan Bay. As a key member of our technology leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Planning and Control

Develop and manage budgets for IT projects and initiatives, ensuring effective allocation of resources.

Staff Supervision and Training

Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.

Policies and Procedures

Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Client Engagement

Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines, ensuring their needs are met.

Incident Management

Manage incidents and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.

Robotic Process Automation

Implement robotic process automation solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.

Project Management

Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs, ensuring timely completion and quality results.

Operational Management

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Experience

5 years or more of experience in IT development and management.

Work Environment
  • Work Language

English.

Hours

30 hours per week.
