About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Development Manager to join our team at Ocean Front Suites at Cowichan Bay. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our technology strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and manage a team of IT professionals to ensure the successful delivery of projects and services.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures for information systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Project Management
    • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
    • Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Client Management
    • Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines to ensure client satisfaction.
    • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and ensure client retention.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Authorize the development of specifications for products or services to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
    • Establish and implement robotic process automation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Education and Experience
    • 5 years or more of experience in IT development management, with a strong background in project management, leadership, and technical expertise.
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, information technology, or business administration.
