Job Title: Early Childhood Educator - Child Development Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Tiny Treasure Montessori School. As a Child Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing educational programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants.

Requirements:

  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • 5-10 years of experience in early childhood education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
