About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Programmer to join our team at Scriptbox. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Design, develop, and test software applications to meet business requirements.
  • Code Maintenance: Maintain and update existing software code to ensure it remains efficient and effective.
  • Technical Communication: Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and guides.
  • Requirements Gathering: Assist in gathering and documenting user requirements to inform software development.
  • Research and Evaluation: Research and evaluate software products to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Specialized Software Development: Develop software applications for e-commerce and other Internet-based applications.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, JavaScript, and SQL. Experience with Eclipse, Informatica, Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce, Sublime Text, and HTML.
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in software development.
  • Work Environment: Work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail. Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, initiative, judgement, organized, and team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
  • Employment Type: Permanent.
