Job Title: Junior Law Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Law Clerk to join our team at Linds & Associates. The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of condominium projects, including sales and disclosure documentation, and will be responsible for preparing closing documents, registering condominiums, and communicating with clients and other lawyers' offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation of condominium unit closing documents
  • Involved in the registration of condominiums and related by-laws
  • Directly communicates with clients and other lawyers' offices
  • Drafts and amends correspondence
  • Prepares reporting letters and accounts to clients
  • Performs sub-searches of title and off-title searches
  • Prepares various documents in Teraview, including Transfers, Charges, Easements, Notices, Condominium By-Laws, Discharges, etc.
  • Organizes and maintains physical and electronic files
Requirements:
  • A post-secondary diploma in a related Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk program or equivalent years of experience
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Law Clerk in Real Estate – Residential and/or Commercial
  • Specific Condominium experience acting on behalf of the vendor is considered an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Conveyancer/Unity, PC Law and Teraview
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently on multiple files
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates a professional demeanor, high ethical standards, respect, and commitment to service excellence
