About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Design Studio team as a Design Studio Associate. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service and assistance to homeowners during open house hours, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer personalized customer service and assistance to homeowners, addressing their design-related queries and concerns.
  • Provide guided tours of the showroom, highlighting key features and available options.
  • Assist with color selections, identify customer needs, and answer design-related questions.
  • Process payments and handle paperwork efficiently.
  • Ensure the showroom is well-maintained, with samples organized and tidy.
  • Conduct weekly checks of product inventory and assist with reselects or discontinued products.
  • Collaborate with the Design Studio Open House Team Lead to label and reorganize products.
  • Answer homeowner questions and provide product knowledge.
Requirements
  • Completion or enrollment in an Interior Design or Architecture diploma or degree program.
  • Prior customer service experience is essential.
  • Excellent command of the English language and good listening skills.
  • Strong customer service background and good organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy with experience in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle problem situations.
  • Ability to multitask and assist multiple homeowners simultaneously.
  • Understanding of price charts, floor plans, and design guides.
  • High degree of professionalism and etiquette required.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends, including Wednesday 5:00pm-8:00pm, Saturday & Sunday 10:00am-5:00pm.
