Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring resources are in place to perform planned work, developing and communicating the weekly maintenance plan, and managing work orders to meet required standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure resources (parts, labor, shop space, etc.) are available for planned work
  • Develop and communicate the weekly maintenance plan, creating work orders as required
  • Manage open work orders to meet required standards, maintaining up-to-date status and managing the work order backlog
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, including service and PM status
  • Prepare job plans for planned work
  • Coordinate with service technicians and mechanics to ensure timely servicing and repairs
  • Prioritize equipment service based on usage, condition, and criticality
  • Organize resources in advance to ensure efficient execution of planned work
  • Complete ad-hoc reports and projects as requested

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in fleet maintenance
  • Proficiency in using Maximo for data entry
  • Thorough knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures
  • Proven experience with invoices and payment processing
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detailed working knowledge of planning tools (JD Edwards, SAP, MS Office Package, etc.)
  • Detailed working knowledge of scheduling tools
