Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Food Service Supervisor to join our team at ONroute. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of food service counter attendants and food preparers to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Hire and supervise food service staff to maintain high-quality customer service.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and establish work schedules to ensure seamless operations.
What You'll Need
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced role that requires standing for extended periods, working under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines. You must be physically demanding and have excellent oral communication skills to effectively interact with customers and staff.

Salary
