We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Head to lead our retail store team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, hiring and training, establishing work schedules, and selling merchandise.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a team of staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members.
- Hire and train new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Establish and manage work schedules to ensure optimal store performance and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless store operations and customer satisfaction.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail store environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
