We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Elementary Teacher/Tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. in Pickering, ON.

About the Role

This part-time position involves working directly with students as an Interactive Coach, providing academic support and guidance in a variety of subjects. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students of different ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and support students in a one-on-one setting, focusing on their individual needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, using our proprietary methodologies and philosophies.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to parents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as education or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or experience working with students in a similar capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to student success.
