About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at JVR Landscape (2006) INC. as a key member of our outdoor maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various tasks related to landscape maintenance, including weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to maintain a clean and tidy outdoor environment.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Lay sod or seed, and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of our outdoor spaces.
  • Apply fertilizers and repair and maintain equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure safe and effective use.
Work Environment

As a Landscape Labourer, you will work outdoors in various locations, including residential and commercial properties. You will be exposed to physical demands, including handling heavy loads, working under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
