Education and Qualifications

A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry is required. The successful candidate must be licensed by provincial or territorial authorities and have completed specialty residency training.

Work Setting

This is a private practice opportunity with relocation costs not covered by the employer.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders.
  2. Prescribe medication and treatment plans.
  3. Study the nature, cause, and development of diseases.
  4. Act as consultants to other physicians.
Supervision and Teamwork

The successful candidate will supervise 1 to 2 people and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Certifications and Memberships
  1. Hold a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination.
  2. Be a member of relevant professional associations.
