Job Summary

Mackenzie Health is seeking a skilled Food Service Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our Food and Nutrition Services department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality food service experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional food service and sanitation support to our patients and staff.
  • Prepare and serve food as required, adhering to therapeutic diets and standardized recipes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to WHMIS, HACCP, and FIFO procedures.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless food service operations.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of patient and staff safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Current and valid Food Safety Proton Certificate from Public Health.
  • Enrolled in or completion of Food Service Worker program from an accredited institution.
  • Strong command of the English Language.
  • Ability to read and follow standardized recipes and production sheets.
  • Ability to understand therapeutic diets.
  • Proven attendance record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hospital setting.
