Visionary Quality and Safety Leader

About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Visionary Quality and Safety Leader to join our team at Eagle Copters Ltd. as a key member of our leadership group.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a senior leadership role, overseeing the development, implementation, and monitoring of our quality and safety systems across all business units.
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

We pride ourselves on providing leading helicopter solutions to customers worldwide, specializing in fleet management, sales, leasing, completions, product development, engineering, and MRO services.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Quality and Safety Team: As our Visionary Quality and Safety Leader, you will be responsible for managing our Quality and Safety teams throughout our business divisions.
- Ensure Compliance: You will ensure that our company complies with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
- Develop Operational Strategies: You will deliver operational strategies to improve efficiency and support our continued growth.
- Oversight of Quality and Safety Systems: You will oversee and be accountable for our Quality and Safety systems, including accreditations and related processes such as TCCA AMO Certification, TCCA Manufacturing Approval, and Foreign MPM Supplements.
- Controlled Goods Program Registration: You will oversee and be accountable for our Controlled Goods Program registration.
- Quality Policy, Standards, Processes, and Procedures: You will develop, administer, and enforce our Quality Policy, Standards, Processes, and Procedures.
- Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Standards, and Procedures: You will develop, administer, and enforce our Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Standards, and Procedures.
- Safety Management System (SMS): You will develop, implement, and administer a comprehensive SMS.
- AS9100 Accredited Quality Management System (QMS): You will develop, implement, and administer an AS9100 Accredited QMS.
- Continuous Improvement: You will foster a continuous improvement philosophy and practices for the above systems.
- Enforcement, Non-Conformance, Audit, and Surveillance Programs: You will enforce, administer, and monitor Enforcement, Non-Conformance, Audit, and Surveillance programs for the above systems.
- Quality and Safety IT Resources: You will select and implement Quality and Safety IT resources (i.e., required software applications/databases).
- Service Difficulty Reporting Activities: You will be accountable for Service Difficulty Reporting activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- MRO Work and Documentation: You will oversee MRO work and documentation as related to aircraft Quality Assurance.
- Quality and Safety Training Programs: You will be accountable for Quality and Safety Training programs for all required Eagle staff.
- Liaison with Department or Business Unit Supervisors, Managers, Directors, and Executive: You will liaison with department or business unit supervisors, managers, directors, and executive to provide necessary support to ensure the integrity of the Quality and Safety Systems.
- Metrics Generation and Publishing: You will generate and publish metrics related to Quality and Safety.
- Periodic Reporting: You will periodically report on Quality, Safety, and the suitability and effectiveness of Eagle's related systems to senior management and executive.
- Regulatory Requirements Proficiency: You will maintain proficiency with respect to the latest regulatory requirements and guidance.
- TCCA CARAC Process Participation: You will participate in the TCCA CARAC process.
- Mentorship: You will mentor direct reports and less-experienced colleagues.
- Travel: You will travel both domestically and internationally to Eagle business units, partners, vendors, etc., as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related program, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of related experience in a Quality Assurance/Safety role.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience leading effective teams.
- QMS and Safety Metrics Experience: Experience in QMS and Safety metrics.
- AS9100 or ISO9001 Experience: Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001.
- Audits and Corrective Action Plans Experience: Experience with Audits and Corrective Action Plans.
- Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills relating to Microsoft Office, ERP, and Quality-related software suites.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attitude: A positive and proactive attitude related to the support and improvement of Eagle Quality and Safety systems.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.

- Canadian Aviation Regulations 561, 571, and 573 Experience: Experience with Canadian Aviation Regulations 561, 571, and 573 and equivalent foreign requirements.
- Safety Management Systems (SMS) Experience: Experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS) for Maintenance and Manufacturing organizations.
- Part 27 or 29 Helicopter MRO and/or AMO Experience: Part 27 or 29 Helicopter MRO and/or AMO experience.
- General Aviation Aircraft MRO and/or AMO Experience: General aviation aircraft MRO and/or AMO experience.
- TCCA or Equivalent Approved Manufacturer Experience: TCCA or equivalent Approved Manufacturer experience.
- Statistical Techniques and Data Analysis Knowledge: Knowledge of statistical techniques and data analysis.
- Certified Quality Manager or Engineer Accreditation: Accreditation as a Certified Quality Manager or Engineer.
- Contemporary Safety Management Systems Training: Contemporary training in Safety Management Systems.
