Job Summary

Onico Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Expert to support their RedPrairie WMS logistics and warehousing software for an upcoming project. As a subject matter expert, you will play a crucial role in researching and recommending technology to improve the current system and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research to identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend technology solutions to enhance system efficiency.
  • Provide expert-level support for RedPrairie WMS, with a strong understanding of other disciplines and specialty areas, including Oracle and JDA Software.
  • Integrate industry experience and professional/technical knowledge to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Apply sophisticated analysis to evaluate issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Exercise independent judgment to determine objectives and approaches to issue resolution.
  • Lead multiple small to medium-sized projects and demonstrate technical breadth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree or technical college diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a functional/software SME with RedPrairie.
  • 3-5 years of software implementation experience.
  • Experience with Java and Java-related technologies is beneficial.
  • Strong SQL skills are an asset.
  • Experience in third-party logistics services, including shipping, warehousing, and distribution, is an asset.
  • Hands-on experience in disciplines such as supply chain and finance is an asset.

This is a 6-month contract role that can be located in various locations.
