Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at RED CHILLI RESTAURANT INC.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed and that the work environment is safe and healthy.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish work schedules and maintain inventory of supplies.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and dependability.
Working Conditions:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced food service environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires standing for extended periods and attention to detail.
