Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Asian Kitchen NU Inc. as a key member of our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute menus, estimating food requirements to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, maintaining accurate records.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and making adjustments as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
