Job Title: Guest Services Agent

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Guest Services Agent to join our team at Fairmont Vancouver Airport. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring seamless check-ins, and providing personalized service to our valued guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring a memorable experience from arrival to departure.
  • Manage guest check-ins, respond to requests, and settle accounts with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist guests with hotel facilities, providing informative and helpful guidance to enhance their stay.
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards to maintain the highest level of quality and consistency.
  • Promote hotel facilities and services, identifying opportunities to upsell and enhance the guest experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Service-focused personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and courteous under pressure.
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including overnight coverage.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail when handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems.
  • Proficiency in Opera Cloud or similar systems.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19, as per hotel policy.

Accommodation and Visa Requirements:

Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada with a valid work permit or visa. The hotel is unable to assist with work authorization in Canada.
