Aircraft Maintenance Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our team as a Crew Chief in Yellowknife, NT.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision
Provide direction and supervision to AMEs and Apprentices to ensure the maintenance crew performs activities as planned.
Maintenance ActivitiesPerform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft listed in the Summit Air Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO), and certify aircraft for flight (maintenance release).
Communication and LiaisonCommunicate and liaise with maintenance, flight crew, and dispatch teams as required.
Requirements:- Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed AME, preferably working with larger aircrafts. Possess Transport Canada AME M or E license or a combination of the two and the ability to hold ACA.
Skills and AbilitiesAbility to direct and supervise the work of and provide practical training to AME's, including foster apprentices towards successfully attaining an AME license. Proven observational, decision-making and time management skills, including efficient computer abilities.
Working Conditions:14 days on, 14 days off schedule with nightshift/dayshift rotations (5pm-5am/5am-5pm). Based in Yellowknife, NT.
Estimated Salary:$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
