Master Electrical Project Leader Saskatoon

We are seeking an experienced Master Electrical Project Leader to join our team in Saskatoon. As a key member of our Distribution Design team, you will be responsible for leading electrical projects and ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership and technical skills. You will work closely with our engineering teams to deliver complex electrical projects, including overhead and underground distribution systems, streetlight design, capital and maintenance projects, and customer new connect projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet client expectations and company standards.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and contractors.
- Coordinate project planning documents, client progress reports, proposals, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Support the development of project documentation, including specifications, IFR/IFC drawings, designs, equipment lists, labor estimates, and Engineer of Record duties.
- Ensure procurement packages are produced in accordance with project cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Review project documentation for accuracy, completeness, and presentation.
- Apply knowledge and expertise to resolve complex issues and provide proactive project change, risk, and stakeholder management support.
- Travel to site 1-2 days per month.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or technical school diploma/certificate.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in electrical project management, preferably with a utility company in Canada.
- Registered Professional Engineer or Engineering Licensee.
- Excellent organizational, communication (written and oral), and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- High level of initiative, with a focus on continuous improvement and providing quality services to customers.
- Knowledge of project management principles and processes.
- Experience in project controls and scheduling is considered an asset.
Compensation Package
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including health, dental, and vision plans, a well-being program, health care spending account, wellness spending accounts, group registered retirement savings plan, employee stock purchase program, group tax-free savings account, life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage, and paid time off.
