About the Role

The Government of British Columbia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join the Wholesale Division of the BC Liquor Distribution Branch. As a key member of the team, you will provide financial advice, guidance, and recommendations to support the division's operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the budget development process, ensuring accurate and timely financial planning and reporting.
  • Develop and implement performance reporting methods, providing insights to drive business decisions.
  • Contribute to sales forecasting, analyzing market trends and customer behavior.
  • Apply financial knowledge and analytical skills to prepare budgets, complete analytical assignments, and design performance metric reports.
Requirements
  • Must hold a Canadian professional accounting designation (CPA) and be a member in good standing.
  • A minimum of 3 years of recent, related experience, including budgeting and reporting services.
