About the Role

Mindy Amar is seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a family setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Supervision: Provide safe and engaging care for children, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and putting them to bed.
  • Household Management: Take charge of household duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation, to ensure a comfortable and healthy environment.
  • Education and Development: Support children's learning and development by engaging in activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment by following proper hygiene practices, administering medication (if necessary), and responding to emergencies.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with parents and other caregivers to ensure a smooth and seamless care experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management, patience, and honesty.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: Employer's home.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Travel: Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
