About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Child Caregiver at a Private Home. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Child Care and Education: Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, and instruct them in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Discipline and Guidance: Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and provide guidance on emotional well-being and social skills.
  • Meal Preparation and Nutrition: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to the children, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
  • Transportation and Errands: Take children to and from school and to appointments, and perform other errands as needed.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Maintain open communication with parents and other caregivers, and work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure the best possible care for the children.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

The Child Caregiver will work in a home-based setting, providing care and support to children in a private home. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a home environment and able to establish a positive relationship with the children and their parents.
